The Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal, in FY 2019-20, distributed 6739 readymade garments, 3000 woollen sweaters and 4132 fabric shirt pieces worth ₹ 63 lakhs to more than 9892 individuals, from more than 7000 poor and needy families and student community in Thoubal, Kakching, Bishnupur, Kangpokpi, Imphal East and Imphal West districts.

3570 tops/shirts, 670 trousers/denims and 1000 sweaters were distributed from 2 August 2019 to 12 Jan 2020 to 3195 female beneficiaries belonging to 3055 families from 34 nos. of villages/leikais.

831 shirts/t-shirts, 1668 trousers/denims, 2000 sweaters/sweatshirts and 4132 fabric-shirt pieces were distributed from 25 Aug 2019 to 9 March, 2020 to 6697 male beneficiaries belonging to 6100 nos. of families of 36  nos. of villages.

The garments consisting of trousers/denims, shirts/t-shirts, sweaters/pullovers and fabric cloth pieces for Males and tops/shirts, trousers/denims and sweaters for females, were sponsored by ITC lifestyle retailing division.
