The student community had lost lots of precious time, in 2015, during the agitation and unrest due to ILP movement, when schools in Imphal remained closed for almost 3 months.

Thus, to make up for the lost time, the Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal started Free Coaching Classes, at its Babupara Campus, exclusively for Govt. School Students’ (both boys & girls), in which around 110 students, who were to appear for 2016 Manipur State Secondary Board Exams, were provided lessons in Science Subjects & Mathematics by very qualified & experienced teachers.

Since, it being the winter season, and the students had to come very early for morning classes, arrangements were also made to provide them, daily, with tea & biscuits, after the classes got over.

The classes were inaugurated on 23rd September and were held till 19th of December, 2015. The students were greatly helped by this and they also made sincere efforts to make the best use of this opportunity, and their response was very satisfactory.
