A tailoring cum embroidery training programme, meant for unemployed women, especially, from economically backward section of the society, was undertaken for the period of 6 months. The programme was inaugurated on 13th July, 2017 by the Hon’bl Dy. C.M of Manipur, Sri. Y. Joykumar Singh.

Under this project 25 unemployed women were given tailoring & embroidery training, free of charges. A monthly stipend of Rs. 1000 /- was also given to each trainee. They were issued a training certificate & were also provided with tailoring kits amounting to Rs. 10,000/- on successful completion of the course.
