As part of its ongoing ‘Winter Relief’ services, a team from Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal, on Thursday, 23.12.21, visited & distributed 61 Fleece Blankets to the needy villagers at Wainem Kabui Village, Kangpokpi Dt., at a distance of around 40 Kms from Imphal. The village is inhabited by the Kabui Naga Tribe community.
In an unplanned follow up event, a short dance was performed by a group of local children, who, at that time, were going around the village houses, in their colorful dresses, & showcasing their dance preparation for the upcoming Christmas celebrations and seeking some contribution for their troop to celebrate the Christmas.
On invitation, the dance group gladly performed, what they called ‘Rangdai Lam Dance’, for the small gathering and were later generously rewarded by the audience.
Earlier, the kids were very dejected as they could not make much collection for the day and were overjoyed on being able to wind up the day on a high note.
