On Friday, 19.11.21, a team from the Ramakrishna Mission, Babupara, Imphal West, visited ‘Poirei Nawakon’, Achanbigei, Imphal East District, and provided winter clothing (trousers, socks & hoodies) for the inmates. A newly constructed 3-toilet block and a water tank was also inaugurated on the occasion.
‘Poirei Nawakon’ is a privately managed institution, run by selfless caretakers through public donations, and is a home for 23 destitute/orphan girls.
Earlier, 08.09.2021, food items, stationary, toiletry items, etc., were also provided for the girls of the abode.
